Yesterday in class, we listened to and talked about classic rock and roll artists from the 50's, such as Chuck Barry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Buddy Holly.
While I love all of these dudes, Little Richard stands out the most to me, and he always has been because I love his performance. That to me, is the real selling point to him. I love Jerry Lee Lewis for similar reasons, but he's more on the crazy side which is cool but he's also just freaking weird. At least I think so. I try not to judge one's music based on one's personal life, but the dude has been married 5 times, 3 of his wives he murdered, and one of the ones he didn't kill was his cousin which he married when she was 13, and divorced her 13 years later. Great guy.
